A diverse student body forms a tight community

TPCB graduate students are a diverse and highly motivated group of young scientists working at the forefront of chemical biology research. We are strongly committed to promoting diversity and inclusion in science and our students come from a wide range of scientific, academic, and cultural backgrounds, both from across the United States and from six continents around the world. We welcome students from underrepresented groups and disadvantaged backgrounds, and those with disabilities. The program forms a close-knit, collegial, and inclusive community in the center of a large biomedical program and provides opportunities to interact scientifically and socially with students from a variety of other graduate programs on the Tri-Institutional campuses.
