TPCB is sad to announce the passing of Prof. Steven S. Gross on Sep 1, 20258. Steven was a distinguished scientist and a generous colleague and friend. He lived life to the fullest and will be missed by all whose lives he touched.

photoResearch in the Gross lab is focused in two main areas: (1) chemical mechanisms of cell signaling by reactive molecules, particularly nitric oxide, and (2) application of untargeted mass spectrometry-based metabolite profiling technologies for untargeted discovery of metabolic changes that comprehensively define disease states, drug actions and the system-wide consequences of gene mutations.
