The Dar lab explores cancer mechanisms and new paradigms in drug discovery through the integration of genetics, biochemistry, structure, and small molecule discovery. Our goals are to better understand normal and disease mechanisms and to discover effective chemical approaches to rewire signal transduction pathways for therapeutic applications. We are currently focused on developing small molecule stabilizers, degraders, molecular glues, and conformational modulators toward several classes of targets, including against mutated cancer drivers, pseudokinases, phosphatases, and transcription factor complexes.
