photoMicrobial pathogens have evolved sophisticated virulence mechanisms to subvert host defenses and cause disease. The Hang lab is interested in developing chemical tools to understand how microbes evade host immune responses and identifying chemical inhibitors targeted at virulence pathways to combat microbial infections.
